OUR PARTNERS

Built on partnerships that put People first.

Headquartered in Batesville, Arkansas

THE PARTNERSHIP

First Community Bank made the founding investment in Arkansas Therapy Dogs for Education.

When we first imagined a therapy dog for every public school in Arkansas, we needed a partner with the vision to invest early, the reach to scale statewide, and the roots to understand what rural Arkansas families actually need.

First Community Bank is that partner. Their founding investment unlocks our path to 236 placements by 2029 — putting trained therapy dogs in classrooms from the Delta to the Ozarks, where the need is greatest and the impact is largest.

MISSION-ALIGNED FUNDERS

Foundations that fund the work.

Grant-making partners whose missions align with ours — and whose funding makes specific placements possible.

Robert & Joan Dircks Foundation Inc.

Robert & Joan Dircks Foundation Inc.

“The focus is to encourage innovative programs and projects that benefit and improve the lives of children and individuals who are physically, mentally, or economically disadvantaged.”

The Dircks Foundation’s mission aligns directly with ours: every Paws For Purpose placement goes to a child or family who could not otherwise afford a service or therapy dog. Their support helps us close the gap between the families that need these dogs and the cost of bringing them home.

BREEDING & FOUNDATIONAL TRAINING PARTNER

Snowy Pines White Labs.

Every dog we place is a pedigree White English Labrador or English Cream Golden Retriever, bred and raised by Snowy Pines — our for-profit founding partner. Snowy Pines provides the genetic foundation, the puppy socialization, and the Wagology Doctorate-level obedience training that makes Paws For Purpose placements possible.

Their decades of breeding for temperament, health, and working aptitude give us the raw material we need to specialize in service and therapy work — without compromise.
