Common questions about giving.
How do I donate?
Two ways. The fastest is via PayPal Giving Fund using the "Donate via PayPal" button at the top of this page — works with any card, your PayPal balance, and supports recurring gifts. If you have a Donor-Advised Fund at Fidelity Charitable, Schwab, Vanguard, or another custodian, use the "Recommend a grant" button to send a grant directly from your DAF.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Paws For Purpose is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. You’ll receive an emailed receipt for your records, and we issue annual tax statements every January.
How much of my donation goes to the dogs?
78% of every dollar goes directly to dog care, training, and placement. Operations and admin make up 8%, fundraising 3%, and recipient placement support the remaining 11%.
Can I sponsor a specific dog?
Yes. Our Champion ($10,000) and Benefactor ($25,000) tiers let you sponsor a named dog through their training. You’ll receive monthly progress updates, photos, and an invitation to graduation.
Do you accept non-cash donations?
Yes — appreciated stock, planned giving, and in-kind donations of equipment or services are all welcome. Contact us to discuss.
